GET YOUR SECONDARY SCHOOL DIPLOMA
If you didn’t have the chance to get your secondary school certificate while you were at school, and you are or will be 18 or over in the year of the exam, you can get the diploma now.
You’ll need to pass exams in three areas: science and technology, language and social sciences.
You can get your secondary school diploma by taking the exam either in April or in June. The test normally takes place on Saturdays with sessions in the morning and afternoon.
We’re highly experienced in preparing people for these tests at our academy, and have 20 years of good results to show for it.
Our course runs from the beginning of October right up until the exam, with classes on weekday afternoons (Monday to Thursday). We dedicate three hours of teaching to each subject per week, which is separated into two classes. You can attend these classes both in person and online.
Free service on Friday afternoons to go over any topics the students are still struggling with. The study rooms are a more personalised service whereby various teachers answer and help with specific questions the students have.
The student’s attendance and academic progress are monitored whilst working towards this diploma.
The science and technology exam tests your knowledge of maths, natural science, physics, chemistry, technology and topics related to health and the natural environment.
The communication exam focuses on the basic aspects of Spanish language and literature and a foreign language (in this case, English).
The third exam is social sciences: geography and history, citizenship, human rights, art, music, economy and classical culture.
You’ll have two hours to do each part of the exam which is 6 hours in total.
Registration for the April exams normally opens in February. Registration for the June exams normally opens in April/May.
You can register either on the Department of Education’s (Consejería de Educación) website or in the Continuous Learning Portal (Portal de Educación Permanente).
If, by any chance, you don’t pass one of the exams, your marks from the ones you do pass will be saved for your next attempt.
